CiaO Foundation's introduction charity event is a huge success

Huge Success for CiaO’s Inaugural Event

In its first official event, in November, CiaO formally introduced itself, its charitable work and the inspirational people it has helped. An exciting evening, with a great “buzz” from all that attended, CiaO received much awareness, recognition and donations for its charitable aims. Over £20,000 has already been raised from the night and after, to help provide more opportunities to people facing real challenges.

Held at the impressive space inside the M&C Saatchi London building in Soho, more than 200 attended to find out more about the CiaO Foundation, meet our Trustees and some of the great individuals we have helped.  We received such warm and positive feedback on the night as well as £7,000 being raised with our Secret Key Draw and a Silent Auction. Among the great items up for grabs was Chris Froome’s Yellow Jersey and a week in a ski chalet.

We would like to send Huge Thanks to M&C Saatchi for providing the venue and Sponsoring our launch event. Thank you also, to everyone that came along and all that have been so generous in helping us help more people with our CiaO Awards.
Following the event, we have continued to raise donations directly through our Virgin Money Giving online account. With the firm promise that ALL MONEY raised in relation to the event will go directly to helping people through our CiaO Award Scheme, we hope to continue to raise more money and help more people. If you, can please help and donate here.

"This launch event has really put the charity on the map in terms of both awareness and raising funds to help us to support more individuals overcome physical and mental challenges.  We have had a great reaction from the launch as people identify with a small charity that is making a big difference.  Our promise is that every £1 donated to the CiaO Foundation launch goes directly to an individual(s) and that anyone donating can see directly where their money is going in terms of who they are helping and how that individual deals with that challenge."
Andrew Hogge, Vice Chairman of the CiaO Foundation
